It's oh so quiet, and peaceful until....

AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *breath* UUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGCCCCCHHHHHHHHAAAAAA!!!

SO glad I got that off my chest.

Am writing. Like a mad woman. I've got a term paper due on Monday, a week from now. Mikael, I and the kids are going to Bornholm Thursday, and I'd prefer to be done by then, but dammit, I may be in for a working vacation, if there is such a thing. Bad thing - many many pages left to write.
Good thing - paper seems to be growing exponentially.

I've long needed a place I could call my "office", where I could sit and work in peace, at all hours of the day, far away from household procrastination techniques, yet close to other humans, and in the vicinity of a kettle for tea-making. So, I've rented myself in at the atelier of a journalist/artist friend which I hope to keep for the duration of my studies. Key hasn't arrived yet, so I'm borrowing the desk of a couple of goldsmith friends for the time being. Being within 10 ft. of so many precious metals has done wonders for my studying, or maybe that's just the fact that I'm not cleaning the bathroom obsessively. Whatever works.

From Monday - vacation. And more fodder for my blog. Until then, I bid you adieu.

Now you have me thinking about Bjork. LOL

It is too easy to procrastinate at home, isn't it?

Good to hear your paper is going well. :-}

Juliet, that's exactly who was in my head at the moment!

Babs - thanks! I feel like the little engine that could!

Jennie! I like you already. You are so stressed for time and have paper writing to do, so decide to write a blog :)

June - Blogging is my drug of choice!

Indra - Thanks for the support! I'm getting there. And the diamond - yeah, it was amazing to look at up close. But they're filled with blood. Could never buy one. Pearls on the other hand...

Btw guys - I met up with Fuzzy and Bad Immigrant (formerly known as Cant Copenhagen) today! -More real life blog friends, yay!

Yay, indeed! What fun it was to meet you both.

Best of luck with the paper. Enjoy lovely Bornholm. I've never been, but I can't think of Bornholm without cracking up over that hilarious Klovn episode when Frank burns down the local kiln!

Fuzzy - how have I missed that episode?! My favorite is the one where he gets diarrhea at the summer cottage in the middle of the night, and somehow, a Danish flag gets hoisted the next day with some tell tale skid marks, he he.

Bornholm is a must. Gudhjem is my favorite so far, but we trade houses with some friends every so often, and they live in Rønne. Beach and forest right outside the door. I can feel my blood pressure falling just at the thought...
